Hi everyone, lately I've noticed a pimple-sized bump on Pippin's eyelid. Is this a cause for concern or will it go away on it's own? It's not causing her any discomfort and she doesn't seem affected by it. I first noticed it on 26th of August and it has not gotten any larger since then.

have you seen her grooming it more or her bothering with it? she could've scratched herself but it could just be a benign growth- if you notice it grow or bother her, i'd get it checked out, being close to the eye not sure if you should use anything without a vet.

No she hasn’t been scratching at it or irritating it.

Has Pippin's spot got any bigger gerbilord Off topic but I have to ask because you seem to be able to produce crystal clear pictures, what camera do you use? Your shots always look incredible.

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. Pippin's eye swelling has gone down quite a bit, it's still there but not as noticeable and it's not bothering her so I'm just keeping an eye on it. Aw thank you, I just use my phone camera - Iphone 6s by apple.

That's good news. I'm pleased there's not been any other issue with it and it's not bothering Pippin. At least it's visible and easy to keep an eye on.
I think you are extremely talented. You definitely have wonderfully photogenic gerbils. I have an iPhone 7 and never get anything like the shots you do. That said it doesn't help that I very much point and shoot.
