We've got pups! After many months of no pups from Peggy and Edgar, I re-paired Edgar with a young female, Olivia, and we've got babies 😁
Pups are two days old and starting to get pigment. I'm being hands off for now and just looking in once a day. It looks like four pups if no one is hiding. Two look to be black spotted, two look lighter, most likely Burmese, but potentially sapphire or pew if mom carries p. I'm very excited and hoping everyone grows up strong and healthy!
If I ever figure out how to insert a photo I'll post it lol.

Congratulations! A Festive family...
Colours-wise: if they are Sapphire or PEW - you won't see any pigment for over a week or more - and their 'eyes' won't look dark at all as the red/ruby eyes don't really show up through the skin while still closed. Most likely they are Burmese then (if that is your colour palette).

Yes, Christmas names for sure lol! I haven't gotten a close enough look to see eye color on the pink pups, I'm giving it a week or so before I start touching. I have a nest box for them with a removable lid, so I only see them briefly once a day right now. I can't figure out how to imbed the photo, but here's a link to the pup pile last night flic.kr/p/2mRJsA3

Oh wow! What colours did you end up pairing in the end? One of your new girls? (Sorry if I’ve got you confused with someone else!)

It might be the angle of the image - but one of those black and white pups looks very underweight.
Have you had them on scales since they were born - just to check one doesn't need extra dietary support.
Love the colours though - always loved my aa breedings.

That pup does appear to be the smallest (and the other black and white is the largest), but I don't think he's unhealthily small. He doesn't seem boney or sunken in or dehydrated. He's developing normally and is active. I will be keeping my eye on him for sure though. I have not actually put anyone on the scale, perhaps that's a project for tomorrow!

Here are some videos from today of them zooming about. The black and white pup is the little guy.

Zipping around so much you can't get a good photo! [edit] Ah, they are videos! (thought they were just photos, didn't realise they were stills from the videos).
So cute! And their parents are beautiful too
