Thank you both :)
-I checked the stocklist and there is one quite close to me :D
-Rat rations is quite expensive in delivery, especially for an item costing £1... Still, might be good to try it out before I commit to anything ;)
Thanks again!

Isn't that £14 + delivery? I tried to see how much it was, but they don't show it unless you register (unless you happen to know that shop is near gerbilord of course ).

You just need to put things in your basket and then go to checkout and it shows you the calculation.
They aren't always that much for postage - but yes, it can sometimes be more than the saving you make elsewhere - but they do do an awful lot of great stuff you can't get elsewhere.
Their degu flower/blossom selections are amazing.

That sounds yummy (guinea pigs would love probably), I'll probably buy some other goods to justify the postage cost - they sell pea flakes very cheap! :)

Ridiculous really.

Maybe it was just a quirk on your software? Unless they have changed their website details in the last few weeks of course.
Oh well - no harm having an account set up? I know online payments have recently been being upgraded - so maybe it is part of that legality.

Ah I see where I went wrong now, their site's a bit different to most others , usually when I go to checkout it shows the delivery costs there, their site doesn't and it asks you to register. But if you view cart, you can then get a quote on the delivery cost (£7 for a 5kg bale, seems they're out of 20kg now). A rather weird and fiddly way to do it, but at least it is there . I'll setup an account if I end up using them, for now I've got everything I need for the Gerbils...... I think! Just waiting for the Gerbils now! The breeder near to me sent me a message on Thursday asking to message her on What's app so she can send me photos, but I can't get her number and she didn't tell me it either! (I'm not paying VIP just for that) And I already gave her my number in a previous message! wth!? Sunday now, and I still haven't heard back from her....... yea I'm impatient to see the Gerbils pics! . The cage is just about done, so I'm ready and raring to go! lol [edit] Just got her full number from pre-loved

I think everyone will be excited to see them... (I know I am ;))

You can post in "members photos" or "general info" - those are probably the most appropriate boards ;)

I tried a new hemp bedding last week - Ecoshiv. It’s pretty much the same as Aubiose, much darker in colour but that’s a style point and doesn’t matter to me ;) I also noticed it has sort of fuzzy bits in it which I haven’t noticed in the aubiose - little bits of fibre from the hemp. I thought the gerbies might’ve made nests out of it but they couldn’t give a toss XD. I’ve also noticed it’s quite soft, in comparison to other hemp beddings I’ve tried, I wonder if that’s the fuzzy fibres in it softening it... I’m not sure. It, like most hemp beddings, has low dust and smells very lovely - fresh and natural... it’s ultra compostable, carbon negative, grown pesticide-free, and is grown in the UK, (as said on the bag) so that’s why they call it ECOshiv I suppose, although that’s probably the same for any hemp bedding so meh. price - £12.50 for 20kg, excluding delivery. The gerbil review - “Squeak.”
