Hello, I have two male gerbils (Flint and Steel) that I want to try taming, but every time I make a slight movement they scurry into their burrows. When I see them outside of the burrow I try taming them, but they immediately run away and don't resurface for a few hours.
Do you have any tips?
I try taming by holding treats on a flat palm.
