Hi,
Two months ago, I got an adorable albino gerbil who was being sold by herself. I was told that she was a male.
A month after, I bonded her to a male gerbil thinking that they were a same-sex pair. Surprise! I caught them mating two days ago. They showed all the signs of mating: foot thumping, chasing, humping, arching, and checking their genital areas.
My question is: can I be sure that my gerbil was impregnated? Although I don’t plan on breeding gerbils on purpose, I would be happy to have baby gerbils. I just don’t want to get my hopes up for nothing. Do gerbils get pregnant easily, like after one instance of mating that lasted a couple hours?

Gerbils do get pregnant quite easily so there's a high chance she is pregnant. If she isn't and they're still together, they'll be mating again in about two days anyway (females go into heat every fourth day usually). I hope that helps and feel free to ask all the questions you want

Just wondering - have you actually sexed her to be female or are you going off behaviour only? Just because if they are recently bonded the behaviour you are describing could be simply gerbils sorting out hierarchy..
But if she is pregnant then i wish you the best and there are lots of experienced breeders and owners here who will be more than happy to help. :) (And do show us photos of the babies if/when they arrive!)
