Wow everyone on here is like in the uk!!!! Well this is the thread for the UK. That's what Ritzie-Ann meant by 'The Other Side'. There's another thread for the US. Anyhoo... Ruth - Devon/Cornwall border (PL18/PL17 region), work in Plympton, Plymouth. Can care for any rodent at my house, and can pop in to care for cats/dogs, other pets etc in owners home. Have previously pet-sat many hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, chinchillas in the past for several people, and a tropical fish tank, and a burnese mountain dog and 2 border collies in the owners home - popping in twice a day to feed, groom and walk them.

Hi is there anyone from the London area who would be able to look after my two (tame) boys for a week or so during the Christmas holidays. From the end of December to the start of January? Also how much would you charge and what is your previous experience with gerbils. Thanks,

is this only for uk people? its not likely that theres finns here, but i live in helsinki-vuosaari and i will happily care for any animals while someone is away. in our apartment we can only have rodents, since our gerbs flip at the sounds of dogs and birds. but ive played with/fed leopard geckos and ball pythons, and many mammals. ive had mice, fish, hamsters, dogs, and cats, and at work had birds, bunnies, and a possum. plus im almost always home i have access to a car as long as theres prior notice, and ive got people who can vouch for me/our home. but probably no finnish people here

The Rodent Resort in Lunt, Merseyside are experienced with gerbs and other small animals and are only about £1.50 per cage per day

I’m Hannah in Southampton UK, I’ve got experience giving meds and dealing with other problems in gerbils and rats. I’ve recently lost my last gerbil and would be more than happy to take care of someone else’s whilst they are away

Has anyone used any professional services in the UK for boarding recently? I’m trying to find somewhere in the Gloucestershire area…
I’ve found some stuff online but there’s nothing like a fellow gerbil-lover’s recommendation for peace of mind!
