I never ventured onto the games board because i thought it wasn’t for me. But talking about nothing is actually my favourite thing.

I need to try and dig out Bubbles sleeping position, one time she was completely tucked over herself. This is Max's latest hair style - several days in a row he has come out of his play area like this - goodness only knows how he's doing it!

Aww very cute Max! Perhaps he's molting? Gerbils often get molt lines that look like that.

He's currently got a moult line on his bum (his remaining ginger circle that's hanging in there!). I'm not sure if it is actually something to do with chewing cardboard up against the side of a hide and because we have laminated floor and he slips whilst chewing I think it's pushing/parting his fur. I found the picture of Bubbles asleep. I have no idea how it could possibly be comfortable but it just shows the odd positions they choose.

Poor Daisy! I just opened their topper door and didn't realise she was standing up with her front paws leaning against it. As I opened the door she fell head first into the tank below. Fortunately I think she landed on her feet and she seems perfectly fine but I feel so bad for her. How many pumpkin seeds do you think I need to give her for her to forgive me?

Lol, aww bless, well, if she had a voice I'm sure she'd ask for all of them! And you know how ever many you give her you'll have to give lily the same too otherwise you'll feel guilty? Or is that just me? PS Gerbils self right during a fall, using their tail to flip them over, just like a cat

Yes, good point about Lily. I do feel bad when one gerbils gets something and the other doesn't but it's often necessary. Lily is like one of those annoying people who can eat and eat and never gain weight, whereas Daisy gains 5g if she sniffs a pumpkin seed. What I usually do is give Daisy the same thing but a tiny piece compared to Lily's full size piece, and so far she's never noticed.
I saw a video of a gerbil falling in slow motion once and it was amazing to see it right itself. Hamsters just fall on their back.
