JANET IS COMING HOME TOMORROW!!!
I am excited beyond words, I've spent the last hour making up her new home, she's got some rocks for digging and climbing, a big holey log to chew and explore, a little wooden hut plus a little log-thingy which is hard to describe.
Anyway I'm sat here gazing at the empty tank, no sleep for me tonight, haven't been this excited since Christmas Eve when I was 7!!!

I HAVE GOT HER !!! ;D
Janet arrived just before 11am this morning, I had time for a very quick cuddle before we popped her into her new "home" where she's been hiding out ever since. I'm trying really hard to leave her along but I'm definiately going to get her out tonight.
I knew Jirds were bigger than gerbils but this little lady at just 5 weeks old is already bigger than any of our other gerbils who are all over 7 months old - she's bigger than I expected and more cuddly (I guess because of her size?)
She's gorgeous - pictures soon as she comes out!!

I already have a guinea pig called Hazel so that was out of the question!
She's now almost 3 months old and I can't believe how much she's grown!!

How big is she now? The bigger jirds are pretty scarce in the States, so I'm not really sure how big Shaws get!
And of course, you'll have to take more pictures for us! ;D
