Heehee I'm here!
And yes, we have four healthy, fat, wriggly little duprasi pups, and mom is doing a FANTASTIC *eats caps* job. We can't see her most of the time, as she's buried under her mountain of fluffy nesting TP, but we have adorable squeaking noises coming from her tank all day, so we know they're under there somewhere lol.
We're leaving them alone for the most part, I check on them once every two days, now that the pups are getting their fuzz I will check and handle them everyday, so pictures will follow on this thread. If I get some good ones Peter I will send them to you if you would like them for your site.

It's the original gerbil mom! lol woestrat the pups are doing great, they grow so fast! mom is a little bit oily looking, guess she's not using the sand in the tank as often. But other than that, they are all doing fine. And Bear, the dad, is a little fluff ball! So soft!

I think one of my female duprasi is pregnant... but it's almost 3 weeks... Her tummy area looks swelled a little, but nothing's happened so far...

The gestation period is around 19 days, but that can differ. And maybe she wasn't pregnant when you thought she was. But if it takes too long it is best to see a vet. Birth problems can happen too of course.

I don't think she's pregnant, so I've introduced her to a male. But right now it's been a day, and she seems to be bullying him. He's still attempting to sniff her genitals and she's still resisting. There's no bloodshed. Is this behavior normal for breeding pairs?
