I usually log in for 6 hours at a time. But anyway-- I do occasionally have bits and pieces of the forum not load, like the pictures out to the side of the boards or the "mark all as read" buttons. But it's only once in a while, and reloading the page clears it up. I just figured it was server lag.

Yes, I'm sorta glad that others are having the same problems, but it's really only been happening for me lately - say the last week.... previous to that, all's be fine! Caroline

I only get it happening when i open more than one browser, so i'm assuming it's just the server, not the mods or sites fault but, the server it's on.

I just started having problems today. when I load some of the pages all the icons are missing that mark it as having a new entry. I have to reload the page a few times before they show up.
I just uninstalled some of my things from the comp and fiddled with it so maybe that's why...

Hey guys, I'm sorry you're having problems, sadly there's nothing I can do but hopefully Peter will be able to have a look when he gets a chance.

I don't know the problem either. I suspect it is (too) much traffic on the Proboards server where this forum is located. Another option can be that this forum has become too big. Maybe the forum needs a clean-up, deleting old posts etc. I will start with a poll concerning this.

It's working fine for me. I think before we start deleting posts, we need to make a maximum width, height, and size (actual megabytes) for signatures to be friendly to dial-up users. I've seen the amount of image signatures increase dramatically lately.

That might indeed be the problem, as I haven't any problems either (but I have internet through cabel, so no dail-up).

I have a small proboardds forum myself, and this happens often, and there are ony a few members and not many posts at all, I think that it is the proboards itself, maybe consider a host change, as I am
