on entering the scout hut....
it was pretty quiet really! only 5 people entered, but there were still quite a few critters!!
just off the photo (on the right) there was a little rat show, with some cute little rats (ok, the rats were huge, but they were still cute!! ;D) lol
ok, and can you guess which pens were mine?
ok, i'll give you a clue, they were comepletely different from everybody else's

ok, so the giant green tank on the left, was Suki's tank, the tiny little red one was Rufus' pen, the the weird shaped pen next to rufus, was Felix's tank and the other weird pen ( couple of tanks back) was Dusty's
aannd, in the background, you can see the mice's judging table ;D they were totally adorable too! they had satin mice, which looked really shiny lol
yet another view...
Ash was in the big blue pen (the same shape pen as Felix and Dusty) nearish the front on the table and Leo was in the blue pen by the big purple tank (which had miche's shaws in
)
why did my tanks have to stick out so much against everybody elses perfectly sized and matching pens??!!

oh, and you can also see some random people judging little mice in the bacground

catching a few Zzs as the judging was going on...

my clever little Leo won Best Juvenile for me
;D lol he also won 3rd in AOV challenge and 2st in spot adult (ok, he was the only spotted gerbil there, so he kinda had to take first place
lol)
ashy got 1st in slate adult (he was, again the only slate adult there, but he still got a card thingy!! ;D)
Dusty got 2nd in agouti adult (jackie's golden agouti got first, and then went on to win BIS
) and little dusty also got 3rd in white belly challenge (and that was out of a class of 11!!
)
Suki got 1st in unstandarised and then Rufus got 3rd and Felix got 2nd in unstandarised too (ok ok, i was the only one to enter into the unstandarised category, but oh well
)
soo, all my gerbs got a card, so none of them felt left out ;D
