I got the "space-age" ones. lol. I went for the biggest size as the next size down didn't seem to me to be big enough for three gerbs. Two, maybe - but if I'm going to a show, it'll be roughly 4 or 5 hours at the show, plus travel there and back. I guess I'll have to do a dry run and if they look like getting loose, call in the masking tape. *pokes ashgerbil* £4.99? I guess inflation has hit P@H very badly then... The size you had is "large", right? £7.99 in P@H. I went one size up. Cost a small fortune...my gerbies really are spoilt. I'm pretty sure I spend more on them than on myself.

Those "space age" ones as u call them come in a huge variety of sizes... i have a lot of them cause i had a lot of bettas though unlike most people think bettas need more room then the tiny ones they sell for them which are 0.5gal i have a bunch of 2.5 gals and 3 gal ones and I know that they make a 4.5 gal in the space age ones. They can be tricky to find. I might consider getting rid of mine at somepoint but England is a little far to ship from Canada I think.

lol yeah. I've now got two of them (one partially wrecked, ) and one rectangular type I bought on eBay. Unfortunately, I can't find the make of the eBay one, because I'd like to get some smaller versions of it. It's nice and sturdy and has a big enough opening at the top that you can get a gerbil out without squashing it or having to take the entire lid off. So I'm waiting for a local petshop to get in some small rectangular tanks so I can check them out for size and gerbil-proofing. ;D
