How on earth did you make those tops? Something very funny is happening at the moment. I have a little girl of 3 staying withus..... she is soooooo cute. I'm giving her a tour of the mongolian gerbil websaite forum...... it's soooo sweet. She just found out what a "jibbil" is. She keeps on asking who's "jibbil" is whos! She insists that all the gerbils on the October photos page are mine. And whnever she sees a picture of a "jibbil" she says "who's jibbil is dat?"

Hahaha! lol! ;D I bought the material for the tops at hardware store. It is just metal wire coated in green plastic. Then I do a measurement, then cut and bend the corners! A roll of that stuff for $5 can do about 3-4 10 gallon tanks.

Nice Set up Ryan . I did the same with the fencing on the top of mine!! I had to staple wood to the sides since it kept cutting up my arms. I did not have teh green coated one! I have the plain wire. I bet they are happier now. I love the pictures!

I have a new setup too! A wheel, a thing that hangs from the wire lid, a wooden " unchewable" branch, that they chewed and Vitimin C Chewie things.

Well, I got them at a small pet store They are reddish rusty brown, and very "dog bone" like! I will try to find the brand name, as you can probobly find a better version in Canada. My grandma has sent me all sorts of cool things for my pets from there before. If you can't find it, you can give them a tiny piece of Orange from your hand, maybe even cut up. I am currently thinking about drying oranges, Because then they will probobly take them.

ABout the water bottles, even thouh they are Ryan's, I used suction cups that came with the waterbottle. Now I use a bottle hanging, because they can't chew on the cups!

You can buy little "water bottle guards" that hang on the side of the aquarium, under the top.
