The other night, I dreamed that all my gerbils escaped. Not only were they all getting along, but I noticed a few gerbils that were "new" to me. I think I had more than just my 7 gerbies. I was having a difficult time telling who from who (except for Squirt, Kurt, Max and Teddy). And Lily and Milo were telling me all about how it happened. When I woke up, I had to go and look at my gerbils to make sure they were all still in their tanks. Very strange. The night before, my husband decided to play a game with me. He took out one gerbil at a time and brought them to me upstairs and then asked me which gerbil it was. So maybe that's what brought on my dream. Oh well, that's my gerbil dream.

Wow, what a dream! Maybe the part about new gerbils means you are supposed to get friends for your lone boys! Glad they were all safely in their own tanks! Tracy

I remember thinking oh my gosh, how did they all manage to escape? It was like somebody disconnected the tubes to all the tanks that had tubes. As for Buddy and Billy's tanks, I had no idea who open the lids. It was definately a weird kind of dream.
My lone boys (Billy, Buddy and Timmy) all seem fine being by themsleves. Plus, they are almost 3 years old.

I've had dreams very similar to that too. Some dreams included finding new gerbils in the tanks, and they got along with the real gerbils. A few times, I actually sleepwalked and opened the gerbil tanks. I woke up the next morning to find 3 rodents on my bed crawling on me..

Whew, well that's good to know that I'm not the only one having those kinds of weird gerbil dreams, Ryan!
LOL, yeah, I thought it was rather funny when I was watching all my gerbils run around and seeing a few new ones!! Hahahaha!!!

I've had a dream where I've entered my home to find every gerbil I've ever kept since childhood (23 gerbs in all), all out of their tanks, sitting on the floor, staring up at me... And they were all getting along!

I've had dreams where my gerbies have got out and I've promptly turned on the light to check they're still in the viv.
I've also had dreams of finding *four* gerbies in the viv instead of three. The fourth was black, and Rheane and Mesieth's brother (that I didn't get because I got Kaole instead) was black.
And I've had a dream of having several tanks of gerbies including my current gerbs, plus the black I mentioned and a female (I think she was a DEH) with pups. lol. Hopefully I'm foretelling the future! ;D

Isn't that strange how we've all had similar gerbils dreams? Makes me wonder what it really means.

I could see why we would dream about them escaping..
But the whole "extra gerbil in the tank" thing is really weird.
Maybe we want more? ;D
