The Mongolian Gerbil Forum Virtual Show opens today for the Adult Self, Spotted Class. Email entries (two pictures of your gerbil showing a side and front view, under 400 pixels) to rogerve@yahoo.com including your name, gerbil's name, age and sex. Two gerbils per person are allowed. AGS Virtual Show rules apply: www.virtual2005.agsgerbils.org/Two entries per person, please. Self colours include Black, Sapphire, Dove, Lilac, Nutmeg, Slate, Red Fox, REW, PEW, and BEW. Colourpoint selfs will have their own class later on so are excluded. I will accept entrants from February 14 to March 14. Results will be posted March 15, 2006. Good Luck Everyone!!!

I"m assuming this class excludes mottled & pied right? Cuz I have a great couple of Peid & mottled combo blacks! But theyhave all the marking snot just a spot... some people dont specify & others do about how they mean spotted.

Well, I've only got one entry so far so I'm going to extend the class to Spotted, all Colours and have a seperate Pied class and Mottled class. That way we should see some nice entries. I will extend this class into March, as well, to give people a chance to get their entries in.

Sandy would you like me to send you actual files or just a link to my photoalbum where i have the pictures? I have a couple gerbils i want to enter. Since you have 3 classes (Pied/Spotted/Mottled), can we have 1 each group with a total of 3 enteries, or 2 each group, or just still 2 gerbils per person?

Andrea, send me the pictures in email so I can resize if necessary and add ribbons if they get one. This class is just spotteds, not pieds and mottleds yet, I will have classes on them later in the year. The distinction is that a pied gerbil has a full collar and there is a tendency for the spots to connect with each other. Mottleds of course have spots all over, especially the back and rump. If anyone has a lot of gerbils in one particular class that they'd like to enter, they are always free to enter the gerbil on someone else's name. Most of us have several members in our family (hint hint). The two gerbils rule is per class, per month, and is designed to keep numbers down to a manageable amount (not a problem, obviously, since there is only one entrant so far!).

I don't know what Eugene is and not 100% sure how old he is - and now theres the whole gender problem!! So where is the best place to look on internet to help me decide what Eugene is colour-wise? Help! - lol But i would love to enter!

Okay, I'm totally confused about what colours are allowed to enter this one now it's been altered slightly! But I have one very simple question, so hopefully someone can satiate me and make me less confused.
Here we go... Can I enter my spotted DEH in this one? Or are white-bellieds still not allowed in this category? I've got a bit mixed up... At first it was self spotted, but one post seems to imply all spotted colours are now allowed... So can my spotted DEH enter her pretty little whiskers this category? If anyone can help me it'd be much appreciated. Ta!
