i guess so but as fruits are high in sugar i would only give a little amount say once a week, but never over do it. Dried fruits are always higher in sugar then fresh one

Dried mangos, peaches, and apricots usually have sulfur dioxide as a preservative. In spite of the fact that it is used as a food preservative, it is a known air pollutant and not really good for consumption (in fact eating these dried foods triggers my asthma). If giving your gerbils dried fruit, make sure it is naturally dried without preservatives.

Dried mango in the Asian Supermarket is a healthy and convenient snack as long as you're mindful of the serving size or consume it in moderation. It's a good source of vitamins and plant bioactive compounds such as antioxidants, which may protect against anti-inflammatory diseases and even cancer.

Ok, good to know (would be handy to back up your statements with at least one paper/article on it though), but this thread was started 11 yrs ago . Also Mango is on our recent safe foods list for gerbils.

It's an advertising spam bot. They trawl the Internet looking for forum threads containing keywords to advertise on.
On some forums where new members aren't screened, certain threads will act like bot magnets which can be funny. I remember a Hamster Hideout thread on CBD for hamsters which attracted a lot of bots.
