What do you guys do in order to bond with your gerbils? For me, I lay in bed with Digby as she runs around and under the covers burrowing and climbing on me. I watched movies with her (her favorite movie is Monsters Inc. ) I also 'chase' her around with my hand and make little noises she loves it and tries to attack my hand.

I watch movies with my gerbils. The general favorite is Ratatouille, though one of the litters like Rise of the Guardians a lot. Whenever I enter the "gerbil room", I make chirping sounds, and they respond with their own squeaks and chirrups. I've started reading children's' books to them as well.

I make chirping sounds at digby and she just tilts her head and stares at me.

I'm sitting with Sierra watching tv and browsing on here. Strangely enough, he has managed to touch my user name and my profile has opened ! Unnerving. But so clever!

I've never considered making chirping noises to them . Sierra is very vocal so I may try it.

digby is very quiet. I think she has only chirped twice the whole time I have had her. I just had her on the bed with me and I was chasing her around picking her up and she would fly out of my hands and I would repeat the process she was having so much fun

I like to interact with them during their play time and let them eat sunflower seeds out of my hand. They like to sit there and eat, I think it is really sweet.
