Hi,I just signed up, well registerd and i was wondering how long it might take for my registration to be approved and i also already got the activation done on my account. When i try to log in it says pending staff approval, so can anybody help me please?  Additional information i just tried to register two days ago.  |

Only the admin can approve your account. Rizie will be able to help you out soon.

I am in the same boat. I'm trying to be patient, but I have heaps of questions as a nervous new gerbil parent! Zip and Zoom came home yesterday and we are in love with them! |

Yes I had the same problem since I joined a few weeks ago. They do this to prevent spam.

Hi ya, same thing here as well, about 10 days now - though not in a hurry, no gerbs moving before beg of Feb (holidays away planned). However their home is already set up and ready for them to explore |

Actually closer to 3 weeks now I think the admin is on holiday or soemthing havent seen them post for a while. |

I just signed up today and I sure hope it doesn't take that long ;-; I'm hoping for a speedy approval. We recently purchased our Gerbil, George, and I'm excited to be able to learn how to provide the best care I can for him.

Ritzie hasn't been on the forum since about a week ago. She's probably pretty busy lately. You'll just have to be patient and understanding, it may be frustrating but she had to turn on the account approval because of spam we were getting on the forum. For the time being you can post any very important questions on this board and members will still be able to help you.

I tried to register last week and after checking back throughout the weekend and I assumed approval wasnt going to come because it was lost or mixed in with spam. So I tried to register again with my work email. But now after reading this post I wonder if it will be approved anytime soon..

Hi, I am also waiting. I know it's only a day since I registered - but I am a member of quite a few forums and I am always approved within an hour....

Ritzie (admin) has stated in a separate thread that she hasn't been able to get to a computer very often at all. She's actually looking to possibly add a new admin, which would mean memberships approved much faster than they currently are. I'm sure it's annoying but please understand that it's really out of her control and she is trying her hardest to fix the situation |
