Okay I took pictures. I did tidy a bit but was way to lazy to vacuum so excuse my carpet. I have 8 tanks, a guinea pig cage, and a bird cage in my room. Oh and my bed but that's not very important. My boyfriend has been threatening to call Hoarders on me... View from the door. A close up on the stand that holds Jassie and Ethan. The white bins hold the gerbil food and the other mouse food. You can see some of my cardboard stash. To the left of the door is my desk. Or more room to shove tanks. The top left is Mojo a mouse, then my male betta fish, the pink bin cage is Leonardo. Ethan's cage is beside my birds. The yellow bin holds sand and I keep the short vac to clean up shavings The guinea pig cage has been put on a stand because my dogs are nosey. You can see their playpen on the left. They stay in my closet which I leave the door open too. My clothes got banished to the guest room. On the closet shelves I keep my bedding, spare toys, guinea pig food and hay, View from the closet. I use the top bunk of the bunkbed for storage, and two desk beneath it hold three mice cages. The brown desk near the window had my books in boxes beneath it. View from the otherside of the room And finally my bed!

Wow, your room is definitely full of animals! I love seeing how you fit them all, which you've done a clever job of doing. The closet "guinea pig room" is a clever idea that I might have to recreate with my own room I'd like to get pictures of my whole room but it's a mess and a lot of the stuff is packed anyways. All my room really is now is cages, boxes, furniture, and lots of garbage. I actually do have some pictures from when I started sorting through things and packing (believe it or not it's an even bigger mess right now): The brown dresser there holds my clothes, and the white one holds pet things. You can see the door into my room beside the white dresser. You can also see the gerbil corner which I showed you in the first post, and part of my rabbit's cage. That brown dresser has more pet things inside of it. My hamster's cage is on another Sterilite shelf and underneath it is hamster food and a bin with hamster bedding in it. The really useful boxes stacked between the dresser and hamster cage hold small wood chews. Underneath the small old rabbit cage is a wire shelving unit that just holds rabbit supplies, and then you can see my rabbit cage. Standing where the rabbit cage is, here's my bed. Underneath it in a box I have some pet chews that don't get used very often. The shelves in the closet are Plano units, and hold more pet things. I'd already taken most things off the shelves when these pictures were taken though. I'm so excited to show you guys the new room once it's all set up. It'll be a lot more organized than this

Is that so there is no assisted escapes by the gerbils and boys lol. Absolutely! My younger boy sleepwalks and we've found him trying to open the cage in the middle of the night, still fast asleep... To be fair though, the only time we've actually come close to an escape was when I opened the front of the cage the other day not realising that Elvis had dashed out to see me and was pushing on the cage door! As it swung open he dropped out onto the floor. I think he was temporarily stunned, and so was I, because he didn't try to run, so I tried to scoop him up (my boys are normally impossible to catch) and managed to get him back into the cage. I was quite shaken up, partly because he'd fallen a few feet to the floor and partly because he'd nearly escaped. I kept a very close eye on him and he seems fine, no injuries or detrimental effects - although every time I open the cage he's poking around as if to say he wants another run on the carpet..

This is a great thread. Demonic Hope, your setup is amazing. You must have to spend half your waking hours cleaning, feeding, or looking after one animal or another! How do you find the time?! I have just the one clan, they live in my bedroom. Their bin is just on the floor, it makes it easier to access it because it's quite tall (it's a 160L). To the left are two big jars which contain their food pellets and their treats (millet and wheat sprays, etc). The smaller jar is their sand bath which goes in for a few minutes each day. This is the corner of the room they live in (you can see the edge of the bed in the foreground). In the very corner, underneath the hanging chair, is their woodshavings and hay (in the black bin bag). All the supplies which aren't used every day (everything but food and sand) live in storage under my bed. The basket to the left is full of cardboard which I save up for them. The white drawer to the right has everything else, like toys and tubes that aren't being used.

Well, i've been busy trying to find a way to make use of the 2 fishtanks i have spare, and managed to come up with this: Its under my window next to my bookshelves, and i'm still moving out all of the fish supplies x Don't worry the gerbies can get up the tubes and i would fill up the bottom tank with more bedding! Both tanks are square 10 gallons, and i am in the process of creating a lid, and looking for a nice enough wheel x Then theres the boys tank:
I used another spare tank and hooked it up to a larger one, so i could maximise the space i had x It's by my door, with the girls tank on the other side of the door to the left x Last is the girls tank: I put Ökami on top so you could see the size of it, but it didn't do it justice xD x I'm 5'8" and not all that skinny, yet i could still fit inside it with a little space x (don't worry i didn't try it xD) This is the view from my bedroom door:
And this is their little play area, you can see Nezumi and Ökami playing in the carpet xD

I see a lot of you use tubes. Don't your guys chew them to pieces? I can't even have a plastic water bottle holder in my tanks.

I come home, let a few of the mice out on my bed, I have a playpen which isn't picture made out of a huge bin which a few more go in, and normally Leonardo my mouse is on my shoulders, I then let the Guinea Pigs out into their playpen. I have a gallon water jug and a big bowl. I dump old water and use the gallon jug to refill. I then freshen food dishes. This takes about half an hour. After that the ones out go back in their cages and the gerbs come out, Lee is normally still on my shoulders. I then spot clean and give everyone a quick checkover. Finally the gerbs and the pigs go back in their cages, I go grab food and a shower, then I settle down with my laptop or a book and I let the rotate being out for an hour or so while I do whatever and I switch them around until I go to sleep. Your settup sounds amazing. Do you have any photos?

I see a lot of you use tubes. Don't your guys chew them to pieces? I can't even have a plastic water bottle holder in my tanks. The tubes I use have metal rings on the ends of them so they can't chew though them, so I've never had any problems. I'm sure that if they didn't have the metal on the ends that they would very quickly chew through them though.
