I had a pup born on June 24th that I -thought- might be a BEW, but after more research I am not so sure. Freya (Mom) and Loki (Dad) are both Siamese. They had four pups this litter: 2 PEWs, a Burmese and then Svalna. Svalna at first appeared like she might be a Siamese. At birth she was pale but not as pink as her PEW sisters and has black eyes. Her claws are clear. However as she has become older she is clearly not a Siamese at all. She almost looks like the LCP Agoutis I've raised but paler; she doesn't have the right ticking. After doing more research I came to the conclusion that the only way she could have been born like this is if Dad has the ef gene. It would make sense, as Loki is -slightly- lighter than Freya, especially at the nose and feet. Here is the layout with pictures: Freya (mom): aachmchDDEePpUwUw Loki (dad): aachmchDDE*PpUwUw (I think he is aachmchDDE efPpUwUw) Svalna: aachmchmDDe*P*UwUw (I think she is aachmchmDDe efP*UwUw) This picture shows Freya on top of Loki. Here are some pictures I took today of Svalna with her PEW sister for comparison. Thanks for looking!

She's too young to be assuming Schimmel. All pups have clear nails at this age, and you won't know what her coat really looks like until the 8-week molt. I'd put my money on L/CP Nutmeg, though. Also, some or all of your "PEWs" are likely DTWs. PEWs and DTWs are identical until the tails darken on the DTWs.

I agree, she looks to me like a light colorpoint nutmeg. Although yeah, it is a little too soon to tell. If she were a regular CP Nutmeg, I think the light cream color they have would show more. LCP Nutmeg tend to appear as BEW until they drastically change at that first molt.
The PEW and DTW do have chances of popping up, or could be both. It won't be known until the 'pew' reach adulthood where a DTW would gain a colored tail. I've had parents that carried both the 'cbch' and Pp, but only had PEW. The odds are just somewhat random (: But to get to the point, sometimes there's no real way of telling what they are until they're older.
