I notice a lot of dust building up in my gerbs' cage. It settles on top of any objects in their cage, like jars and toys. The build up becomes very noticeable within only a few days.
I used to use ordinary woodshavings, but I just switched to aspen and I'm still getting just as much dust. Is there anything I can do to reduce it, apart from just cleaning off all the toys every few days? I'm sure there's much more dust mixed in with the bedding and that can't be good for them.

I've heard carefresh can be very dusty. I use Browns' brand of Aspen and Ecobedding. Both of these are very non-dusty.
