Anyone used the Great and Small gerbil food before? is it any good?

From the website, it appears to be too high in protein, and they don't state the fat percentage. I'm also cringing at the ingredients (the first four are "Flaked Peas, Kibbled Maize, Alfalfa Extrusions, coloured Cereal Extrusions" which are all awful ingredients). I'd recommend steering clear of that brand

The gerri gerbil food is 17%, but i add oats and sometimes rice and crushed pasta and often a few ather bits. would that still be too much protein?

That is a fine mixture. Many other people do the same and have very healthy gerbils
