I couldn't figure it out either. I thought it was me. Are you using Tapatalk?

I upload my pictures to an image hosting site (flickr, photobucket, etc.) and then post them here.

Has anyone successfully used Google Drive to host pictures here? Supposedly they are accessible to anyone on the web with the proper URL. The url is a proprietary Google thing. I failed here: gerbilforum.proboards.com/thread/30540/

Photobucket is by far the easiest. Upload, the they provide the links in the correct format for a forum. Or manually use the img /img tags to anywhere you can browse to the picture

You just need the url for the location of the image. Maybe with Google drive try using the url obtained by right clicking on the image and selecting copy image location. Like this maybe? (if it works...)

Format should be:
[+img+] http: // whatever.com/gerbil.jpg [/+img+]
Without the "+" symbols or spaces, if I remove them in then the page will try display an image that doesn't exist. If you can open a picture from the web in a web browser the the img will work fine.

Here is how to post photos.I don't know of a workaround for Drive. I think the problem is that their "shareable links" aren't image urls, they're webpage urls. So you can't embed them.

Or just use photobucket, it's free and easy to use

HELP for me, I am not allowed at the moment to get a photobucket account. I tried tiny pic, but my picture turned out bigger than I wanted it, and sideways. What should I do?

You can't get one huh... what about using deviant art to post up pictures and link back to them here? It would give you a link to your photos you can link to here. Also, you might have to take your picture and turn it and save it in that orientation. I might be half awake as I type this. Flickr Smugmug Imgur And then there is: postimage.org/ I found this but not sure about it since I've never used it.
