Does anyone know who I can order large-ish amounts of Pumpkin Seeds from (apart from human versions which are like a zillion times the price I want to pay)?
I have been looking half-heartedly for a while but now my supplies are dwindling. None of my regular pet stores seem to be able to order it...
I'm in the UK but might consider shipping if the price is great.
Thanks

Unfortunately you're almost certainly going to have to get the kind for people. I've never seen bulk pumpkin seeds for pets. But if you get them online in bulk it shouldn't be so painfully expensive.

Well if you can't get them - noone can!
There was a small pet shop near my mums who always had them a few years back and i thought they were everyday items; but went in one day and they only had 3 bags left. On asking if they were getting more they said they have taken a year to sell that lot - they had ordered them by accident and couldn't return them - and they tried to order them again with no luck.
Needless to say, I brought all 3 bags and have been rationing them ever since - but last ones now don't fill a jar...
Hmm. I might start growing my own pumpkin supply....

I grew some pumpkins a few years ago and my gerbils absolutely loved them. They even ate the shells off the seeds! I think I got the giant pumpkin seeds from a garden centre. I've seen pumpkin seeds for people in Tesco.

Pumpkin seeds for people are also called "pepitas", just make sure they're the unsalted kind obviously.

Today I found some bulk shucked plain pumpkin seeds, 1kg for £7 - buy 1 get 1 free.
Cheapest I've found so far. These should last me a while anyway...

Supermarket sell them in smaller bags.. We tend to use sunflower and pumpkin seeds as a treat, read it's not good for them to have too many.

It all depends on what else you're feeding them. Sunflower seeds make up 10% of my food mix. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using proboards
