So I'm going to buy the biggest thing of clean and cozy on petco.com but before I do I want to know if it would be good to hold tunnels. It would be mixed with aspen and hay and what ever else the gerbils chew up. Right now I'm only using aspen and hay have about 15 inches of it in the tank. But the tunnels seem to collapse easy so I wanted something to mix in for support n xt time I clean.
thanks

Even just hay and aspen should work fine when it comes to holding tunnels. So, if aspen is cheaper for you, I would recommend just first mixing hay with it, as hay should help a lot with holding them.

Personally not a huge fan of the clean & cozy. It just doesn't seem to last very long. I use it for shows, since white bedding is a requirement, but afterwards I get them back on their normal bedding (eco packing) asap. I know others who swear by it, but I find tanks smelling strongly after maybe a week on c&c, so I can't recommend it. Aspen and hay should hold tunnels well, as long as you're not using aspen that's been chopped up too finely like some reptile bedding I've seen.
