Well, I'm happy to say i am now the happy owner of some more little critters ^^
Sadly the last of my boys past a couple of weeks ago and the house has been quiet, too quiet. I don't really have much in the way of friends to hang out with irl, but still manage to talk to people on skype. As nervous as i am about getting more pets, i just like the company and since gerbils are really socialible they are really good company.
Anyways.. getting a little off topic there.
I headed down to the pet shop yesterday in the early afternoon, just to avoid the time when the schools let their kids loose and when everyone gets out from work. Went to the one that my registered vets are in, a little further than normal but i saw some little ones that i liked the look of. Asked the woman how many were in the tank and she said three, that's great, got the tank opened up and there are four in there. Three of them were a grey type of Agouti, and one of them was a black slate.
I have asked about my tank size before, and i saw that i have three more gallons for a 3-4 gerbils (23 gallon tank i have). But i asked the staff member there and she said it would be ok. If you think its small, don't worry, i do plan on getting either a topper made, or getting a bigger tank in a couple months time. Right now since they are still small (12 weeks old the staff member thinks they are, normally that's roughly their age when they come in), their new home compared to the old one is much bigger in comparison.
As you can probably guess i took all four home with me, couldn't seperate brothers that would just be too mean ^^;;;
Right now I'm letting them sleep, i have checked in on them a couple of times and i have left a faint light on on the opposite end of the room, not too bright, but enough to make them out to check up on them.
No names or pictures just yet, but i will be sure to put them up when they are settled in.
Honestly, it feels good to have company in the house again. I still miss my other boys so much, and the ones i have now aren't a replacement, more like another bunch of friends i took in.
I will keep you posted ^^

Oh, and in case anyone was worried about what would happen in fighting occurred, i do have a gerbilarium spare that i keep just in case.
