These are our 7 day old pups! We have four but I've taken some photos to confirm that they are all in fact black! The mother is a dove (we think) and the Father is black, and it's looking like the little wrigglers are going to look exactly like their dad. Here are the parents!

It may be my settings, but for some reason I can't see your pics? Here's a pic of our black pups - they were six days old when I took it so you may be able to compare the colour to yours. Our mum is spotted black & dad is golden agouti. Pups were 1 black, 2 spotted black & 1 LCP agouti

That's odd! I tried changing the image URL so maybe that's helped! If not here's a direct link incase others have the same problem: imgur.com/a/aE5hdAaah what cuties, they do definitely look similar to your black pups!

I can see them now Very cute. We have a dove girl who looks very much like your girl. Beautiful colour. And your pups look pretty much the same colour as ours were at that age. The black seemed to get deeper & developed a gorgeous glossy shine as they got older.

Your dad must have double dark eyes - PP - so it cancels out your mother's red eyes in your pups...

That's right! We were expecting dark eyes that's for sure, but in terms of coat colour we weren't expecting an all black crew of little ones. It's not a problem though, they'll be loved regardless!
It's still a little early to say for sure but it's looking like all 4 of them are female too!

Well a Dove is just a red-eyed Black really, so if you cancel out the red eyes, you are only left with the genes for Black.
There is the chance that there are other recessives hiding in there as you have only had one litter so far, so there is still the possibility of a new colour in your second litter?

Have you had a second litter yet? Should have been long enough if they mated straight after the first litter to see the colours now.
I love seeing the new pup colours...
