I'm not really sure how to ask this question with out a long backstory, but I will try. So I have a daddy gerbil and his only son from his first litter together. He had a second litter but we separated mom and dad before the second litter was born. Again there is only one boy in this litter. Would it be possible to introduce the the boy from the second litter to his dad and brother who he has never met?

In general you don't introduce singles to pairs, but since it's dad and brother and they're very young it should work. I would do it when the pup is about 5 weeks old and supervise carefully for some hours to be sure they're ok together. This is one situation where I might do a direct introduction rather than a split tank, though if you have a split tank available go ahead and use that for the first hour or two. Once they're much older it could be more problematic. But be prepared to effect a rescue quickly if there's any sign of trouble. Have some hiding places for the pup, jars and tubes. And use a small space, no more than a 10 gallon size.

Yes, these types of introductions happen a lot and father to son introductions are usually quite straight forward even with other pups involved as basically the dad is the boss and so all the younger pups defer to him as they don't have a great concept of hierarchy.
So if your first litter is still under 12 weeks, this should be quite straightforward, but there is always the chance of a scuffle, so do keep an eye on them for a couple of hours after the intro, longer if you are concerned at all.
