Here are two pics, one at 6 days and one at 7 days old. I know I have two agouti and one black, but I'm not sure about the other. Mom is black and dad is PEW.

Here's a pic of one of our pups who turned out to be LCP agouti although your pup's tail is pink so perhaps DEW? I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you what he/she is for definite

Not sure but with the colourpoint genes and those red eyes, it could be a Sapphire or Dove. Don't think it is white enough for another PEW?
Will be interesting to see how the colour develops as I find the gingers and silvers take longer to finish colouring up...

She definitely looks more gray today so I'm thinking sapphire! Would dove be possible with this pairing? I know nothing about their genetics other than what this litter told me. I don't see dove as an option on the gene calculator, just sapphire.

Well, unless you know which colourpoint genes the PEW has, it could be either. It's either chm/chm, chm/ch or even ch/ch if it is actually a DTW. One can create only Sapphires, one can create both Sapphire and Dove, and the other only Dove.
Shame you don't have any history on the genes for the dad?

Yeah, it sucks that I don't have any history on him. I'm quite certain he isn't a DTW, at least.

Well at least you know you can get Argente colours now (as they are the Agouti equivalent of Sapphire and Dove).
Are you having a second litter?

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing what's in the next litter!

When is it due? Are they going to be Christmas babies - or were your pictures current and the next litter might not be until the end of January?
I love waiting for pups - it is one of the best parts of breeding and genetics.

Haha no Christmas babies unfortunately! This litter was born Dec 12th and they mated the same day. So the next litter will be here sometime in Jan.

Waiting for pups is fun and seeing momma grow. I'm expecting our 3rd baby so whenever I see the momma gerbil big and uncomfortable at the end, I feel like I so understand her! My favorite part is seeing the colors develop and then filling in all the genetic gaps. It satisfies the nerd in me.

I have the same nerd need. I hate those left over * gaps...

Here are the pups today. I'm thinking we definitely have either a sapphire or dove, she's undeniably gray now that her fur has come in more. Any way to determine which one, or is it just waiting for her to mature to see the "true" color?

Sapphire and Dove are two very debated colours because the gene that creates them is temperature sensitive meaning that even two Sapphires can be different colours. So you can get a really light Sapphire that looks like a Dove, and a really dark Dove that looks like a Sapphire.
So yes, best wait for the eyes to open and put a few pictures on a new Colour thread and we can make a suggestion from there. He looks a bit speckley in that shot, if he has pink eyes, there are only a few things he could be anyway.
