Hey! I have been having a little problem when taking Dove and Rose out. They keep pooping on my arms and hands. Is that normal? If not, what can I do?

Pooping lots is totally normal - they all do it to varying degrees.
Some poop extra super amounts and others do it just every so often. I had a really super human-friendly gerbils who asked (demanded) to come out all the time and loved running all over us and answered to her name and everything - and she pooped the most!
Just one of those things we gerbil owners learn to live with...

I think a lot of animals seem to poop a lot in their balls - but I wonder if this is just the whole weird things about being in a ball in the first place - which is totally not natural to them.
I am not really a fan of hamster balls for gerbils and have never used them myself - so I couldn't say for sure whether they were pooping more in them out of confusion, or whether the poop is just more noticeable in a ball as they are plastic - and they aren't really pooping that much more than normal - it just looks worse?
Perhaps someone else can comment from experience here?
