I am trying a new way of naming my doops so I can easily tell what lines they are from - and to cut a long story short I may be getting pups from lines that need to start with the letters Lea - and therefore the vague sound (Lee, Lay or Lee-ah).
So, how about a bit of fun seeing what you lot come up with for either sex? Poetic licence of spelling is allowed (see below)
Obvs ones are Leaf, Leamon (pronounce Lemon), Leadle (pronouced Ladle), and Leabing (DaVinci Code), but am happy with double-barreled names (like Leaf-Litter and Lean-Bean), TV names (Leapold and Learoy) and place names (Leads and Leamington Spa).
I didn't imagine this labelling idea would be so random - but I have started it now - so it is what it is!
Help!
NB: This won't be the last name help thread from me I think?

Gosh, I'm terrible at names. The gerbils I got two years ago were always just "the boys."

Betty - are the 'Daa' names pronounced 'D-ah' or 'D-ay'?

Either Dah or Day thea - or Darrrrr (like a pirate?) And I have three pups to name this way - so far unsexed. I am liking the bird names jewels1171, but none start this way do they apart from Daartford Warbler - hardly catchy! How about Daahling, Daalek, Daalmation, Derby (Daarby of course) - or flowers: Daahlia, Daaffodil, Daaisy?

Me again with a new prefix - Cob - so sounding like Cobb/Corb/Coyb...
I shouldn't really be keeping another baby (oigh) but I can't help myself? Anyway do Dabs needed? I am open to made up names too although animal-like or foodlike contenders might well be given priority?
She is a female - but it doesn't matter on the name.
First thoughts are:
Cobbler Cobble Cobnut
Cobra (not sure I like that though?)
Cobalt
Any famous places of people starting with Cob?
