So my gerbil has a weird growth on his scent gland and I immediately kind of freaked out. I calmed down a bit when I realized it didn’t look like a tumor but I’m still pretty concerned. This is new, or at least kind of new he hasnt always had it but I havent checked his scent gland in a while. I am working out how to do photos but the best description I can give is it kind of looks like 3 pink fleshy fingers or toes on the bottom part of his scent gland. They are white near the tips. If any of you think that sounds like something you know about let me know I’m gonna send pictures soon.
