So I was wondering if anyone else assigned letters colours in their head? Eg, A is pinkish red, and I asked a group of 10 friends and about 3 said yes, but all had different opinions on what colours those letters were. What colour do you think E is? Also does anyone have a favourite letter?

This seems to be connected to synesthesia, which is a physiological thing when you can hear colors. I often used to argue with my friends when I was younger about 'why couldn't they hear that' before I found out I had synesthesia. I have put my answer up in your poll

I was wondering that too, it's an interesting thing too, apparently it can help with memory with writing/typing! Something that would've helped my dubious spelling! lol Anyway, I don't see any colours with letters, so that's what I voted. No favourite letter here.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

I don't see colors for letters, but I do have some letters I will favour when asked.
Also when playing WORDLE I always have to have a guess with a C in the first 2 guesses.
There are also letters I don't think should be next to other letters, but I am quite a visual person AND a language person - so perhaps 'actual' words have got something to do with that un-preference rather than any type of neural differences.
I love hearing how people see things that I don't see - its an amazing window into the brain...

Yes, I know things like these are so fascinating. Im working in an orchestra right now, and my conducter was saying he had synesthesia, although in a different form. He instead, saw the music. He was describing it as getting two different sensory pathways, one visual, one auditory. It sounds very fascinating. I only have it to a miniscule amount, so it's not quite as drastic as that.
