Are garden variety grass seeds, walnuts, and almonds acceptable nutrition for Gerbils?

i dont think the grass seeds are healthy for gerbils 2 eat. maybe u should just by normal gerbil food, and add yummy treats, but im a new gerbil member, so maybe someone else should answer for u!

As I have mentioned, I believe that walnuts and almonds are okay in small amounts as long as they are raw, unsalted and not cooked in heavy saturated fats.
It is the grass seed that I am not familiar with. I would imagine that mongolians are desert animals and may not have had access to grass and if so a limited amount. Like other fruits and veggies, the water content is high and it should be given in moderation. Also you would need to be careful of pesticides, fertilizers, etc. those are very dangerous to the little buggers.
Now we need the input from all the other members since, I am not an expert in this area. Thanks for your input!!
