1 cup bird food 1 table sp. of honey one tea sp. water
bake for 20 minutes under 160 celcius. it should be soft but solid. cut small slices to give to gerbils once a week. to make even better for dental health, bake until hard so the can gnaw at it.

Sounds great. Do gerbils like honey? I tried giving mine multigrain Cheerio's with a hint of honey and they did not like it. Is it the cheerio's or the honey? If they can eat honey, I would love to try the treats!!! ;D

I haven't got around to making them yet,I'm expecting my gerbils to eat them as they don't usually say no to any food.I thought of adding a few mealworms as well, mine love mealworms.
