Hi I'm Laura from argentina and this is my first post!!! ;D I've found too much information about what is good or not for a gerbil, but I've only found 2 recipes to prepare my own seeds mix, but one has too many sunflower seeds and the other has some things like deshidrated carrot or apple... that kind of ingredients are almost impossible to find in argentina. Could you teach me diferents recipes? Thanks! Laura pd: sorry if my english isn't good enough, I understand everything I read, but I have to practise my composition

Hello Laura, I think I'm the one who gave sent you the recipe containing dehydrated carrot and apple . I can't find those ingredients where I live either, so I use 1/2 - 1 whole part raisins.

Thanks for that QueenoftheNile, because of most of my gerbils disliking Gerri Gerbil,I've decided to make up my own food as well. I'll use your recipe,as a base. I bought my Gerbils some pine nuts from our local health food shop.I thought they'd enjoy them.My gerbils don't,one of my pallids did sort of sniff one, then looked at me and clearly said "You expect me to eat that ?"

I certainly don't want to take credit for the recipe. It came from Celtic Clique Gerbil Clan's website. You can see the original recipe here: www.wagerbils.com/habitat.html
