No. Because they are loaded with sugar. Sugar = Bad

You can use the plain, unsweetened cheerios as treats. Most gerbils really like them.

I tried multigrain cheerios and they did not like it because it has a honey coating. Try Chex Cereals, Puffed Wheat, or Grape nut cereals. Some of my little guys like them. Then again, like kid's appetites, they change by the day .

I give 1 or 2 honey-nut cheerios like a treat twice a month... I know it have sugar, but not too much and here they aren't loaded with sugar or honey. My gerbils love them ;D kisses Laury
