Possibly a silly question, but... I'm trying a new seed mix (8 in 1 ecotrition) which smells a lot fresher than the one I was using previously. I noticed that it has something that looks like small beans in it and I know from these posts (thanks so much!) that dried beans are a no-no, so I checked the ingredients, and they are "heat processed soybeans". Anyone know if these are okay? I think they look the size of regular soybeans and I don't think you soak soybeans before eating like you do with the other beans, so I think they are okay, but just want to make sure.

I think 'heat-processed' means cooked doesn't it? What a weird phrase to use when labelling a pet food . I'm not sure if they are safe to feed gerbils, but apparently they cause gas .

Thanks. Haven't noticed any funny smells around the tank lately...
