Lol, I LOVE Cheez-Its.. but anyways...
I had Memphis out and she was crawling on my lap. I was previously eating Cheez-Its, and I think she smelled them on my breath. She kept going to my mouth and just sniffing. Is it OK to give her a tiny bit of a Cheez-It? They have no cholesterol, but they are kind of salty. Plus they have protein. ^_^
Is it alright for her to eat?

Too much salt is not good, but I give my gerbils sometimes also a very small piece of cheese. Just as a treat. In almost all sorts of cheese you will have salt in it. I have never had problems with it and they like it very much.

So maybe about a fourth of one every so often, like once a week at most? I think she'd like the crunchy-ness of them. ;D

Yes once a week or something like that. It is impossible to say how much you can give and how often. Just a little as possible. Some will even say that you shouldn't give it. I give them sometimes once a month, than one week, than 2 weeks. Depends, always different.
Just keep in mind that is not healthy for them.

Okay so who eats only what's good for them?? Not me LOL I think that as a treat, once in a while it is okay. I do not think that it will be harmful if given in moderation. I bet they like the change in treats

Ritzie gets little pieces of Ritz crackers sometimes. Or cherios... usually it's the little pieces that fall on the floor. They get random foods that never equals 2 cherios size, and that's every few day, or once a week or so. THey like it!
