Just wondering, I asked on another post of mine but nobody left any comments. I was wondering what were some good things to feed to a female that is expecting to help and the pups out in the duration of the pregnancy. I heard that cat food and dog biscuits are offered sometimes? Would high protein things like eggs be good for her? Id there anything else you suggest?
I have them on a diet of lab blocks and also offer s mixed hamster seed diet,

I add kitten food (higher in protine), extra peanuts and other high in protien nuts. I also make sure i put vitamins in the water.
Cooked egg is suposed to be real good, same with live crickets and meal worms.

Hello Tiri,
I tried cooked egg whites from a boiled egg and they did not like it. Mine like grasshoppers, or crickets. Of course they like mealworms but I don't so they get other things.

Well Sam is along pretty well, I expect the pups to arrive around april 15th to the 20th, so its really not that far away! She's starting to look a bit "fuller" I think is the best word. Shes not fat but just fina of full looking. So Im pretty sure that mating was sucessfull! Im very excited!! www.geocities.com/gerbilpets/index.htm
