The protein seems a little high yes. Worse it looks boring. I love watching my gerbils relish the different tastes and textures in Gerri.

But its fine to keep feeding this? I give them 1-2 granules a day each.... I give them sunflower seeds and the occasional fruit or vegie.. But its not that i dont want to its that I dont have time to make there own food... should i just buy that mixed bird food since i dont know how to make there own food? Whats Gerri and does it exist in France? THx

Gerri gerbil, made by Sumpreme Petfoods. It's a balanced gerbil diet and is grain based containing very few extruded biscuits. It looks and smells nice and isn't overly expensive when bought in bulk. Whether you can get it in France I don't know www.russelrabbit.com/check it out

You can always mix a hamster or rat food in to 'spice it up'. I feed a ton of different things, I to find the 'block' style food to bouring, with seeds they have to open them like in the wild and they can carry them around and hid them for later

I use bird mixes that are just seeds, not little cereals or pellets though. I like a C-o-c-k-iel Mix (for some reason the site thinks it's a bad word and cuts it if i don't put those spaces in) with no sunflowers. It usually has millet and saflower seeds.
