Hey everyone! I know I know i havent been on here for a while. My apologizes. Just going to school to be a vet tech. ;D Um where to start. Well, for the past month i would sorta say. My rabbits cloud and cancer are losing a little weight. So ive been feedin them more hay, pellets and oatmeal. Not cooked by the way. They seem to be losing more and Ive got fair coming up in a couple of days. Im going to take them to the vets if needed. I see no signs of illness or infections. Ive had them in the same hutch since they were babies and they are both males. You think it could be one is hogging the food more than the other? Please give me your input Thanks. Ashley_Renee

I think you need to put a post on a rabbit forum as this is a gerbil forum.
If in doubt though, please take them to a vet and get them checked over.

I know this is a gerbil forum, rachel. Ive been on here for a longtime. Thats why Ive posted it in a different place than talking about gerbils. Alot of people have remedies and such thats why I asked. Ive already looked at rabbit forums. I trust this one the most. Thanks for the vet advice. I was already going to do that anyways.

Rapid weight loss should really been seen by your Vet, just in case. Parasites could be the cause, it could be the pellets are of low quality, so many different things. But the Vet would be the best to diagnose. Hopefully it's nothing serious and your guys are feeling better soon.
