Are apple tree branches ok for gebrils if i freeze them for a couple of days?

I think fruit twigs are acceptable but you might want to check out peter's website. It states what are good and bad trees.

Apple branches are fine! (only apple seeds are toxic).
Here are the trees of which I know which are save for gerbils: fruit trees, willow, birch, hazel, beech, oak and maple tree. Probably there are more.
Branches and twigs from trees others than listed above CAN be also toxic. Plants that are poisonous for sure are: common yew (Taxus baccata), common ivy (Hedera helix), holly (Ilex spp.), azaleas and rhododendrons (Rhododendron ssp.).
This what I know!
