Here's the Pictures of the Gerbils going on the 'train' tomorrow. Big thanks to Susan and Britta for driving them around!! ;D
As soon as the Gerbils arrived I took pictures of everyone, the ones Susan sent, and my own. There's a few older pics of my pups when they were weeks younger. The pics aren't very good quality, as I didn't want to disturb the new gerbils to much after their long trip, and my guys I put my hand in for a second for them to jump on, snap a pic on the lid, and let them down again.
Britta's Gerbils from Susan:
Sibley PEW Male:
A little sleepy, lol (tired from the long trip and a bit irked at space, keeps leaping out when I take the lid out)
Beautiful Siamese:
Shilo’s Three Pups:
Their tails are very short, I'm not sure if they were born that way, or maybe a wheel accident?
One of the agouti's appears to be a lt. (Cch) the other is darker in coloring:
The spotted black is so cute!!
Lilac Male
Britta’s mystery breeding pair, Honey Cream and :
The male looks like your mystery gerbils coloring, sort of like a nutmeg or an agouti carrying ef, I know his parent's on one side were selfs. Anyone else have ideas what color he is?
Enormous Argente Female:
She's so huge! You could have really large pups from her, I'm not sure who her parent's were or how old she is though...
Ash and Family
The one little pup is very independent and spends her time on one side of the tank while the other 3 pups sleep:
apologies for the poor quality, bad lighting at night here.
Britta's Gerbils from Me:
Misty in her feeding tank
Four girls from Susan to me:
take a look at the tails- I'm a little worried about that:
They're missing a lot of fur on their tails, I think it's from overcrowding rather then parasites, so I will hook part of Misty's old set-up to their tank when I get a chance.
Each of the tanks have TONS of cardboard now and are happily chewing away and making themselves as loud as possible digging in the corners I’m moving waterbottles around so everyone has enough to drink. Only Ash's family doesn't have boxes because I was worried about the pups, they just have a toilet paper roll.
Britta, could you bring a bin for Misty and one for Sibley? Thanks a bunch!!
