Does anyone have a series of pictures they've taken as the pup's develop? (Or a website even). I've been reading past posts and info there contradicts info in the books I have. It'd be very useful to see photos of the various stages in development from birth to weaning.

I have just the website for you! It's my own . Here's the link: www.gerbilbreeding.comIt includes everything about gerbil breeding, from selecting your gerbils, through pregnancy, birth and development. You can select the page you are interested from the sidebar. I have *tons* of pics on the development page that may clarify things for you.

Thank you! It's been my little pet project for the last year. I really found that there wasn't a collective resource on breeding, so I decided to fill that niche.

Were these babies planned or due to missexing at the petstore? If it was a mistake, then your female gerbil is likely pregnant *again*. If you wanted to stop breeding, I would remove the male and put him with the male pups just before 5 weeks.
