hi there, my pups are now 5 days old and are starting to walk a bit, can someone please tell me what is a good housing for the pups and the mother, now they just dig tunnels and sleep in there, or a hole and cover the babies, is there something you recommend for them?
Thanx Jimbo

just throw in some plain white toilet or kitchen tissue and let mum sort it she'll build the nest and keep them warm no trouble

I always used some kind of nesting box from the beginning. Like a plastic box or a wooden house or a tissue box filled with plain, unscented toilet paper. At that age they always crawled in and otu of it and the mother would pick them up and put them in it when she wanted.

A nesting box is great. Some people opt not for a box since it would obstruct a view of the little ones. Some people feel more comfortable being able to count the pups with out having to disturb the nest.
