They have born at 7am ;D they're 6!!!! 3 with red eyes and 3 with black eyes!!! But 2 of the 3 black eyed littles, have some parts of their faces darker than the other side... this is normal? I'll try to take some pics.

hi, umm thats strange, gerbils are born with their eyes closed and usually open at about 14-21 days

yes but you can see the colour of the eyes through their eyelids. Odd but true. I can even tell my colourpoints that way at birth, because their pupils are lighter than the other black eyed pups. Vamp, remind me of the colours of the parents?

the parents are a red fox male aa C- ee DD G- pp and a pied black female aa CC Ee DD GG Pp. The dark part of the little's face is lighter than the first day kisses Laury

OK so 25% chance each of Red Fox, Lilac, Black and Nutmeg in the pups. Nice mixture! Too bad you do not have an A dominant gene, it would give a lot more variety. Still, very nice!

yeah... I know it... when I made the calculations of the colours that that breed will give I thoght in a Yellow Fox, but the breeder doesn't see the difference because the parents of this male never had a Red fox pup ... it was really a pity, but with some of the present litter I'll get some Aa ee gerbils ;D

What do you think I should do? move the tank near the pc or wait a few days, to not disturb the parents?
