Sherica, they are growing fast! I'm glad your second litter in the trio is doing so well. That lilac is very dark, exceptionally so. You might want to consider breeding him with a spotted argente and you'd get some lovely, lovely deep coloured spotted pups that would be very striking.

Wow- they got big! The spotted nutmegs are adorable! (I finally took the divider out and let my honey cream and tuxedo black mate, so hopefully I'll have some spotted nutmeg pups as cute as yours!!) In the double female litter, are the older pups starting to care for the new pups? That lilac pup does have very deep coloring, almost purple- or was it the lighting? Can't wait to see more baby pictures!!! ;D

Hi Sweetie, well, I do work with several pet stores that I trust very much. All the managers of the small animal areas know about selling them in pairs or trios and also know how to sex them. Plus, whenever I bring animals in, they write down the sexes of each of them so other employees will know without having to check each one. The solid agoutis and whites are not very big sellers around here, so I try to avoid breeding them as much as possible. I am currently trying to get all my breeders paired up so they produces what I call "my blondes" or spotted. At Christmas, I had pet stores that were begging for pups so I ended up selling some of my pups I wanted to keep!

Beautiful pups- the spotted agouti's are too cute! I'm curious, how much do the pet stores offer you for a pup? One of my friends sold pups to a store, they gave her 1$ each- is it the same where you live? They re-sell them at 7$ there, 13$ at petco. . But at least they take good care of them while they're there. My first really planned breeding pair- the mother (nutmeg) is named Sable also ;D (she's now retired and living with a still unamed daughter from her first litter, and one from her second). Thanks for the invite, I'd love to make the Small and Furry meeting- but turns out I won't have a full-time car until Summer . Are you planning any meetings that time of the year? I like the pic where the one little argente scurried away to explore while the rest of siblings were piled up;D

But once I start breeding more honey colored, I will start selling them from home probably. We had to cancel the meeting for this saturday because my pipes froze. We are trying to re-schedule for next Saturday. I was wondering if maybe sweetfancymice could offer you a ride it you would like to attend? If you interested let me know and I'll check with her.
