This has been up for a while so i thought to make my own addition My gerbils have a 95 litre tank. There are ledges for them to play on and to build a nest underneith. They also love to lie out on them and take a nap!

I just replaced cheech and chongs (dont dis the name, I have a good reason related to ones lazy eye ) 20gallon long tank with this 18 gallon high tank, i had an issue of severe chewing of my mesh, so thought more height would be better. I am still in the process of buying shelfing and also building a nest house.

Bottom: Pico, Zim & Zig Flash and Yoshi on top Then BamBam on his own to the side. Ignore the stuff scattered around, I'm moving house so all the stuff I'm taking with me is bundled into that corner!!!

Not the best pic, but here's Roo's cage. 10 gal with modified WARE brand topper Can't really see the bottom, but there's nothing really to see in the bottom, its all buried. I bury boxes with holes, tunnels, jars, and pieces of cardboard, which he uses when digging his own passages. Up top is his silent spinner, food, water and 2 boxes. Open container on top is his treats

Ours aren't quite as big as all of yours Oh well, our gerbies are quite happy and spoiled. This is Sophie and Janie's cage. They currently have a box at the bottom that's covered with the bedding -- Janie loves to hide under things. Besides the bedding, they have shredded paper that they LOVE to rustle in, a few things to chew and their wheel. The wheel comes in and out at night. This is Aletia's -- it's only a five gallon. That's something we had always meant to change, because the five gallon was supposed to be an emergency holding tank, but when we tried to move Aletia to a ten gallon, she spent the week hiding. In the smaller tank, she gets more attention and comes out a lot more. She keeps her wheel 24/7 for exercise when we can't give her 'tub-time'. Hattie's cage. Bedding and chewies -- for the most part we let her make her own cage. She 'hulks out' and starts tossing bedding and chewies around and moves EVERYTHING we put in there -- she'll move a wheel, ceramic bowl, food. She insists on moving her nest under the water bottle no matter how many times we move it. Close up on that den and the 'you better not be planning to mess this up' expression.

My 58 gallon tank for my two girls. The bedding is pressed down so they will have to work a little extra to dig tunnels. And of course I have no wheel since it's bad for their backs. Attachments:

They don't keep it neat for long, they love to redecorate. Carefresh, mesh wheel, glass dish, bottle with metal guard, edible log, lots of rolls, some toilet paper tissues, an amazon box I recieved some blu rays in...oh and 4 young gerbils all male I believe from the same litter?
