Well that was a disaster, Cream wouldnt even come out the unit and Cookies almost ended up with a shower I got Cookies in the tub and he had some fun running around and chewing the plug chain, when he decided to pull on this thick chain below the tap and well it mad the tap dribble a bit of water lucky enough I swooped my hand in and scooped him away before he got a shower, then it consisted of a ten minute game of catch the gerbil while trying not to let him go to the wet area, EVENTUALLY I got him in the ball and in the unit. GOd it was scary He is ok with me as he climbed up my wrists when I put him back in

Its basically a string tied onto their tummy, I wouldnt do that to my poor gerbils, all that tugging on their tummy wouldnt feed good

I know alysalouise it looks like one or those cord tie things... I would not dream of giving it to my due any day as it looks cruel to them I just thought it was cute and funny how it kinda appeared while searching for chinchilla sand

I had a harness and lead for a house rabbit I had but I don't think it's a great idea for small rodents. It's crazy the things they come up with. You stick to your bath time exercise for your two Emmy One time I was looking on line for gerbil food I saw a car for your gerbil!!!!

I personally would not recommend gerbils around water puddles. They hate water, as in swimming for example, and when they get wet they stress out so much, they keep jumping (all of a sudden they jump twice as much as normally) and can hurt themselves, not to talk about they can get a nasty cold.
